Crowder Road Trip

Author: Bake

What a good day for a road trip. Headed south with Jacob for some riding at Crowder State Park in Missouri. We met Matt and Arnold in Osceola and then continued on south. Once there we met local Doug Long who gave us a guided tour of Crowder and Indian Creek. The terrain is much different down there than up here. Lots of rock gardens awaited us and also lots of climbing. The area is known as the Green Hills area and it lived up to it's name.

The Thompson house built in 1830. Weird house we passed by on the trail. Kinda spooky because it's in the middle of the park with no road to it. It belonged to a Dr. Thompson who back in the 1800's praticed out of it treating slaves, native americans and whites back in the day.
