Bake Shop

Huh...just a little delay in this post I guess. I emailed this post in on Mar 8th. Guess it finally decided to show up 10 days late??

Things are going to get a little interesting over the next few days at our house. Nick is coming Wed to install the underlayment in the 2nd bathroom which means I have to remove a toilet tonight to have the floor ready for him. That wouldn't be a big problem except our other upstairs toilet is still out of commission. When I removed the other one I discovered the flange was busted during a previous install and only an ad hoc repair was done. I could have just tried to make do but I decided I'm better off getting it done right so we have a plumber coming tomorrow afternoon to repair it. I'd rather spend a little $$$ now than risk spending big $$$ repairing a costly floor and ceiling damage if it were to leak. I tried a couple of the things to repair it but I didn't feel comfortable with the fit on either.

Stacie is going to a musical tonight with some friends so Kiersten and I will be hanging out. I think I may surprise her and bring her home a McDonald's Happy Meal. She thought the last My Little Pony she got was pretty neat. Over the weekend she really enjoyed the nice weather and seeing her Aunts and Grandma two days in a row. On Sunday Stacie, Kiersten and Sara went to the park by us and played for a couple hours. Also on Saturday we went to bday party for Ainslea, she turned 1. It was fun as always to watch a kid make a mess of a cake for the first time. Kiersten had a good time and then really enjoyed running around in their big backyard for a while.
