Star Light

Star light, star bright, gotta love riding at night. Well that's my lame attempt at poetry. I took out the singlespeed last night and headed down to the local trail and went for a nice ride in the dark. Without the moonlight my headlight cut a nice swath thru the trail. I will say I watched way too many horror shows growing up...but it did help me ride faster. Nothing like not being able to look directly behind you and hearing a noise. The one time I really jumped is when I turned to the side and my light lit up the eyes of a deer. Ahhh!!!.....oh hello deer...nice friendly no fanged deer.
Today was a great day for being outside. Stacie and Kiersten disappeared down the trail before I even knew they were gone. So I dawdled around the garage cleaning it out. Made a nice dusty mess when I used the shop vac blower attachment to "sweep" out my garage.
Tomorrow is a training ride up at Boone with Jacob. We're hoping to take off around 6:30 and get 3 laps in up there and be back by 11. It's the toughing trail around for climbing so it'll feel good to power up some hills and wake up the legs.
