Bake Shop

With the weather starting to improve I finally got off my lazy rump and rode my bike to work today. With the news of gas going up again I think it was a wise choice. I saved enough to buy my lunch today.

Only 14mph on the flats....I'm a slacker.



And just because I'm a dork I chased this guy down just to say I passed someone.



I was happy to see they have started working on the new trail extension. Once this piece is done it will be about 90% bike trail for me the entire way to work.



Ah....my measuring stick. Last year when I was peaking I could easily get up this hill in my big ring without downshifting to granny gear. I was really curious how I'd do today. It definately wasn't as easy but I made it without going down a gear. Only had to stand up a couple times. You can't see it in the pic but the hill continues after it curves off to the right, it's a real buzz kill. Just when you think you're at the top you look up and "&%$#@?"



I only forgot one key piece of apparel for my work attire today. Luckily I had a extra pair of gym shorts at work to fill in.
