Taco night

Author: Bake

What another great evening for some time on the trail. Had a pretty good group show up for the CITA Taco ride tonight. I planned to take it easy and rest my hamstring but I ended up getting in behind Pete and ended up riding way faster than I normally do. If I could ride somebody's wheel like that every time I'd get a lot faster. In Pete's defense he was riding way slower than his norm but trying to stay on his wheel had me riding way faster than I normally do. Needless to say it felt good and I was very surprised at how good my legs felt.

Had to wait for a train at the RR bridge. That doesn't happen often.

The "go fast" duo. Kudos to Pete for sticking it out for a lap even though he felt like crap and was fighting a cold.

On the last regroup a good chunk of the group headed to their homes but Al, Scott and I made one more trip thru. Al ended up snapping his derailluer hanger on his frame so I had to tow him back to the shop. That ended up being a pretty darn good workout. On the plus side he paid for my beer and taco's at Giffs so I was happy.

Thanks Bake, I feel even worse today and have decided to take the rest of the week off and get better. I can't stand feeling like I'm living in a pressure chamber between my ears.
