Fought a vine on tonight's Taco Ride and lost. I swear it felt like that sucker was about 10 ft long. It somehow managed to get pulled across my arm for quite a while. Gotta love scars.
Had a great time on tonights ride. We had about 15 guys show up again. Everyone was having a blast and the trails were in great shape after we dodged today's rain (even though we actually need some rain).
Tomorrow I'm doing my first roadie race down at Waterworks Park. Could be interesting as I've never ridden in a pack before. I prefer the one on one action of mountain bike racing.
Carefull with yer terminology of "one on one" mountainbiking. Someone may be thinking in the more slanted direction. Road racing is fun, just got to make sure you hold your line in the pack. Don't be nervous, it's a ton of fun, besides, Waterworks has no sharp turns to be too worried about.
